I'm one of those guys, I don't care if people think I'm "picky". Well, let me re-phrase that.
I don't care if a
cutter, setter, and polishers think I'm picky. We have a reputation of not
wanting to look at junky stones, no matter how cheap.
When it comes to diamonds, it is not like I need to have "flawless"- that's not the type of perfection I seek.
To me, perfection is beauty. A tree is perfect. It is beauty.
These diamonds are "perfect". They don't match exactly, and they have "imperfections"- but if you love diamonds, brown diamonds and emerald cut diamonds, these are perfection.
The cut is all classic emerald cut- perfect.
It's true that they are cut differently than colorless diamonds. They are a little deeper. In terms of visual size they look like ...I'd say 3.50cts total weight, if they were colorless. Now that they're so well dressed, they
still look pretty huge
The remarkable thing is that they are so dark in color, yet they still have a lot of sparkle. It's extremely difficult to capture the amazing color of these guys. The hue changes with the light!
The reason we did not submit these diamonds to GIA is to keep the cost as low as possible.
The price is a tiny fraction of what yellow diamonds of this intensity would cost
