Here is a stunning double halo diamond ring. The ring starts with a great looking half carat diamond- with an obvious and attractive yellow color. I was quite sure GIA would grade the diamond at least "Fancy Light Yellow" ( the next darker grade). Their strictness is your gain- if it had gotten a stronger grade we'd have priced it accordingly. A Fancy Light Yellow is worth at least $300 more. But in this case, you're getting a stone that looks just like the next darker grade.
The stone is totally eye clean- graded VS2 by GIA. It's not cut as you would a "normal" colorless diamond-the sparkle is very cool.
The setting is gorgeous! The double halo not only helps to accentuate the color of the center stone, it really increases the finger coverage you get. It has a lovely floating halo style that will look wonderful next to a wedding band. The over all effect is simply amazing. You will be getting a beautiful ring at a great price!
