Here is a perfectly colorless diamond. D is as high as you can go. This is a rectangular princess cut diamond- elegant and stately. It's got great sparkle.
In terms of how a princess cut diamond looks, it's personal preference- but more people want square princess cut diamonds. Raise your hand if you're among those that love this shape. OK, now you get a prize - a savings of about $800 on this diamond because the shape is rectangular.
Then I had an idea- what about flanking this colorless, icy white gem with some yellow diamonds? One of my favorite cutter just happened to have finished some very nice light yellow princess cut diamonds. I think they look pretty darn nice together.
