as anyone- as round diamonds were the basis of my training in grading.
GIA grades go from SI1 to SI2
to I1.
What is SI3? It's an attempt to
evaluate diamonds which are not good enough to call SI2, yet are far better than
your garden variety I1.
When I learned to grade, it was
for a major diamond company. They had 5 grades that represented the space from
SI1- I1. 5 grades versus 3 on the GIA scale.
These diamonds are "Textbook
SI3's"
They're beautifully cut and
