We are proud to announce our new line of branded Diamonds by Lauren diamonds.
This was an experiment. Hugely successful, in my opinion.
What if we took the facet design of an Old Mine Brilliant, and re-aligned the facets to magnify the yellow color? The nature of the cut- if you copy the original- is good at making faint yellow diamonds look whiter - we wanted the opposite effect. We got the desired result. There is no other antique cushion brand on the market that does what we're doing. Other branded antique style diamonds of Y-Z color are "off white."
As you can see below, the diamond looks yellow. Yoram accomplished all this while achieving Very Good, and Excellent on the Polish and Symmetry- virtually unheard of in these cuts.

This Old Mine Brilliant is somewhat of a chameleon. In direct sunlight she turns blue! A charming personality trait IMO.

Uber Halo
setting X2

What we have here is a gorgeous double halo. Sixty-five Single Cut diamonds of varying millimeter and carat size. Literally- the sizes range from .7mm up to 1.4mm.
And let me tell you- this many single cuts working together is very cool. The sparkle is definitely different than full cut diamonds.
The detail work on these rings is remarkable- perfection from any and every viewing angle.

What is a "Single Cut"?
When smaller diamonds were first polished they were even simpler than the Single Cut. The diamond is divided by 8 on top and bottom- with a large flat facet on top called the "table".
Here's the basic facet
pattern of a single cut diamond

Looking through the diamond
you see something like this
This
design is the foundation for every Modern Round Brilliant. Below I've sketched
in the additional facet lines that give the Modern Round Brilliant diamond 57
facets, versus 17 for the Single Cut.

Below
is a blow up of the single cut diamonds in the double halo.

Where is this ring made?
This ring was manufactured in New York City.
To achieve these results, you need a
combination of things. A highly skilled workforce is only the starting
point. Specialized tools are required. The reason that the parts join
together so well is because the parts were designed, and polished using a
microscope..

The methods used for welding
involve working in as sterile an environment as possible- while focusing
acutely on specific areas using a microscope. This comes into play heavily on
a ring of multiple metals, such as this one.
