How much will my new diamond appraise for? |

By any
standard, this is a remarkable diamond. The cutter knew this- they recognized
the potential.
The result
is wonderful. it' not blazing pink, but the color is there.

The cut is
lovely- amazing sparkle and life.
The diamond
is graded SI1 clarity.
It is eye
clean in real life, but we can see the imperfection on some of the photos- those
shown below.
It's the
series of faint lines at around 3:00

We provide these hi res photos and videos to
give you a good idea what the thing looks like in person. Of course no photo
looks exactly like the subject. But in the best case, a photo can provide a good
representation.
This is a beautifully cut
diamond. It looks quite large for it's weight- the sparkle is amazing, in just
about any lighting.
We don't subscribe to the
companies that categorize "Cut Grades" on their own.
For example, many sites have
terms such as "Signature" or "Premier" being used as if there was some agreed upon
standard. NO such ting exists in the diamond cutting community- other than GIA's
cut grade for round diamonds, or AGS.
Since this diamond is
considered a Fancy Color, there is no cut grade.
If you want to call this stone ideal, be my
guest. You're not a dealer and can call it whatever you want! I think dealers
should adhere to a higher standard.

The Ring
We did a simple, yet elegant
rose gold basket for this one.

A note about photographing diamonds:
The main goal we have is to most
realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural
Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light
source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos,
and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the
photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically
represent the lightest and darkest face of the diamond
