Here's a lovely pair of natural pink diamonds. We get a lot of letters about pink diamonds, and many requests. Many people are quite shocked when they come to understand the scope, financially of pink diamonds. They're just really expensive. Here we have a lovely pair. Believe it or not ", moderately priced" pair of natural pink diamonds.

There are a number of reasons for this. One thing, is that they are a lighter shade of pink. They are definitively pink, but it's a light shade.

For example, a pair of fancy intense pink diamonds of this size could easily be more than $100,000... even if they were I1 stones. So that, is the main reason.

Let's look at these diamonds individually to get more specific about them.

First, we'll look at the .47 carat diamond, which is a pure pink.

As we can see from these high res close-up photos, this diamond has a beautiful cut. Generous amounts of sparkle, and a nice size for its weight.

In terms of color, it's a pure, beautiful light pink.

Now, let's look at the second diamond. This one is .45 carats. This one also has a slight tinge of brown mixed in with the pink

As in the case of the .47ct stone, this one is also beautifully cut with great brilliance. The color again is very apparent pink, with the aforementioned slight tinge of brown... it really does not detract in any way, the diamond almost looks peach colored.

The presence of the color brown and pink diamond also reduces its price. Of course, the more brown, the more it reduces the price. In this case, the Brown is very slight. I do not believe it has a huge impact on the price.

The fact that both diamonds are almost exactly the same size. Both have such a nice cut, such great sparkle, and such apparent pink color, makes this a very desirable pair.

Below they are photographed in very dim lighting and the pink looks super dark!

I can see them as a beautiful pair of earrings, or as side stones to something very special in the middle.
