The color of this
Sapphire is almost electric.
It's well
suited to this unique cut.
It's so incredibly
pink, and so remarkably sparkly.
This is a very
unique cut, a unique color- a gem quality stone.
The cut is also great because the
sapphire has great size for it's weight.
The Ring
The three angular stones together
present a dramatic profile.
This is a totally
custom made piece of jewelry. We don't have stock parts- I doubt they exist for
such unusual shaped stones. We make the parts. That's why everything fits
together the way it does. Notice how there's no gaps between the stones.
This is not our lowest
to the finger model. Not that the ring is extremely high off the finger, but it
does have a little bit of height to it.
Look at the size of
the shank as it attaches the outside edge of the trapezoid- it's ever so
slightly narrower- creating a graceful flowing line. When choosing the ring for
this remarkable sapphire, we decided to go full boat- all platinum. This is a
substantial ring.
The trapezoids
themselves are a visual feast for the eyes of a diamond lover. These are quite
distinctive, elongated step cut trapezoids. They're reminiscent of an Asscher
cut- so they really compliment the center.
