Here's a very interesting
Pear Shaped Diamond. the gem was examined by GIA who issued a report-
calling the diamond Fancy Intense Yellow.
It's quite reasonably priced
for a Fancy Intense Yellow- here's why:
1) it's an SI2- there's a
tiny black spot in the center of the diamond- I can't see it- but my
brother can.
2) it's a little deep so
it's not large for a 1.01.
In terms of sparkle, the cut
is great.
In terms of color, it
SCREAMS yellow- close to vivid.
SO- you give up a little
size, and if you're not a clarity freak, you can get a sweet deal on a
screaming Fancy Intense Yellow
Totally unique side diamonds for a totally unique center! The flat edge
of these shield diamonds allows us to nestle them right in there.
These
side diamonds are icy white- with amazing sparkle.
It's
not a huge ring, but it makes a huge statement. An awesome ring. Very
solid.
At
this point the diamond could easily pass for a vivid yellow.
