Brown diamonds are quite rare. Fancy Vivid Yellow diamonds are quite rare as well. Both are much harder to find than white diamonds.

It's one of the funny anomalies of the diamond business, that brown diamonds are simply not considered nearly as valuable as yellow diamonds.

There's a lot of reasons for this. For example, many brown diamonds over the years were quite ugly.

NOTHING about this diamond is ugly, yet the same prejudices apply, so you'll enjoy a price, which is a fraction that you would pay for a yellow diamond of this size and cut.

Do you love a radiant cut diamond? If so, you will love this one. The cut is absolutely beautiful. It's a tall broad rectangular shaped bucket of crushed ice.

It's rare that you find GIA issuing Excellent polish, and Very Good symmetry on a radiant cut diamond.

As a VVS2, there's nothing to talk about in the way of imperfection. I could probably find the imperfection with my loupe, if I took enough time. But I've been doing this for over 30 years.
