 We are proud to announce our new line of branded Diamonds by Lauren diamonds. It could be said that the modern brilliant cut is the pinnacle of diamond design. To some people it is. However, it would be very easy to make the case that in gaining something, as we do with the modern brilliant cut diamond, we also lose something. For example, modern brilliant cut diamonds can have very tiny facets. Older cut diamonds generally have much larger facet areas. This affects the entire look of the diamond. Which is better? I believe that it is in the eye of the beholder.
 Since this is a modern cut diamond, this "vintage" facet pattern is laid on using the most modern technology.
That's why many of the stones have VG or EX symmetry.
However the Polish and
Symmetry grades tell us so little a symmetrical stone is not necessarily
beautiful- or well cut The cutter, Yoram F, is an artisan who is at the vanguard in the "re-creating" the classic cuts.
He designed these diamonds, cut from light yellow rough, to best show that
color.
This is a different design
than used on other vintage style colorless diamonds cut by Yoram.
Closely related, yet
different.
This design epitomizes the qualities we love in a DBL signature stone. To the
best of my knowledge, you
won't find this particular specialty anywhere else. Beautiful.... artful facet design combined with the precision execution
geared toward increasing color perception. The stones are gorgeous. All are laser inscribed.

The two
side stones were cut differently than the center- it's subtle, but the center
was cut to increase yellow light return, the sides were cut to maximize white
light return.
The
setting also plays a vital role in the "separation of colors". The side
diamonds are not "high white"- but somehow each of the colors has the effect
of making the other stronger. The slightly white looks more colorless- the
light yellow seems yellower

Where is this ring made?
This ring was manufactured in New York City.
To achieve these results, you need a
combination of things. A highly skilled workforce is only the starting
point. Specialized tools are required. The reason that the parts join
together so well is because the parts were designed, and polished using a
microscope..
The methods used for welding
involve working in as sterile an environment as possible- while focusing
acutely on specific areas using a microscope. This comes into play heavily on
a ring of multiple metals, such as this one.
